A Bit About Me (Cassie Brown)

I started practicing manual therapy in 2011 as a osteopathic apprentice. In 2015, I graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) in Hamilton, Ontario with a Master in Practice diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Science (M.OMSc). The CAO is the only osteopathic school in Canada to teach Classical Osteopathy (principles-based education and practice) while meeting or exceeding the World Health Organization standards of Osteopathic education.  I am an active professional member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association as well as a registered member of the Canadian Institute of Classical Osteopathy.

At your first appointment

  • Please wear comfortable, movable clothing such as sweat pants and a t-shirt

  • The paperwork might take you 10-20 minutes (it's the worst part, I promise)

  • I only accept cash, cheque or e-transfer at this time

  • The notice on the front door has some useful information (location of the bathroom, etc.)

  • The first appointment can take up to an hour

  • My treatment fees are covered by all extended health care plans in Canada that cover Osteopathic treatment

  • Please ask questions throughout the treatment if you are curious! Osteopathy is my passion and I love to talk about it!
